The Watershed is a 508(c)(1)(A) faith-based ministry providing facility hosting and administrative support for local homeschool families and independent educators. The Watershed and its independent educators partner with parents to provide an academic education while fostering the registered particicpant's faith through discipleship, rooted in the foundational truth of Jesus Christ as revealed by way of the Word of God
We serve participants from Pre-K through 12th grade. Our small class sizes allow us to create a nurturing environment where each participants can truly master core subjects. Our independent educators prioritize deep understanding and give participants the flexibility to progress at a pace that aligns with their individual readiness, supporting a more personalized and effective educational experience.
The Watershed is a co-op that meets three days a week, Tuesday through Thursday, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Participants may be dropped off as early as 8:15 AM at their designated location.
Curriculum is grounded in Biblical principles, and participants experience the Gospel through daily interactions, intentional modeling, community, and dedicated Bible classes. Each Wednesday, educators, staff, and particpants gather together for a time of chapel and worship.
Our independent educators use a variety of curriculum, thoughtfully selected and tailored to each child’s individual learning needs, to support true understanding and mastery. Depending on age and developmental level, you can expect to see the following curriculum used in our educators classrooms:
Math U See, Logic of English, IEW, The Biggest Story, History From A Biblical Worldview, Apologia of Science, Not Grass, ABC Jesus Loves Me, The Bible, etc.
